Industrial Policy
 
The Industrial policy of the state has been fine tuned to meet the needs of the entrepreneurs. Electricity is one of the throust area.The state has sound infrastructure well developed training and education facilities and a strong industrial foundation.
 
  • Rs. 2.5 million capital subsidy on investments of between Rs. 500 million and Rs. 1000 million
  • Rs. 5 million capital subsidy on investment of between Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2000 million
  • Rs. 10 million capital subsidy on investment above Rs. 2000 million
  • Subsidy of 20%, upt Rs. 2 million for units setup in 31 most backward takulas,selected industrial complexes.
  • Sales tax deferral/waiver for units undertaking expansion and diversification projects
  • 15% & 10% price preference for SSIs and medium-and large-scale indusries located in the state.
  • Special subsidy of 20% of fixed assets, upto Rs. 2 million, for Leather units.
  • Capital Subsidy of 10% of fixed assets, upto Rs. 1.5 million, for medium and large scale units of Automobile spare parts, Drugs and pharmaceuticlas, Solar & sports goods & accessories.
  • Capital subsidy of 5% of fixed assets, upto Rs. 0.5 million, for units with over 30% women workers.
  • 20% to 40% power Tariff concession for a period of 3 years for certain industries.
